Plan B Tournament - Kill it With Fire
Marshall in Charge - Sir Morgan Orlander
Pick-ups and other assorted fighting will be announced on site.
As we know, an army marches on its stomach. The Kingdom of Northshield invites the Kingdom of the Outlands to join us at Quest for Camelot for a culinary and combative competition.
The Shire of Schattentor is honored to host the Plan B Tournament – Kill It with Fire.
The tournament will consist of 6-8 teams of cooks. Cooks are allowed to have up to 3 assistants. If more assistants are desired, all cooks must agree. Cooks also must have a herald. Teams will provide their own utensils and other culinary implements (spoons, knives, pots, pans, etc.).
All ingredients and fire pits will be provided, but rounds will be focused around a specific ingredient type:
Cooks will sponsor fighters to fight for top choice of the ingredients presented in the round. Cooks can only send one fighter in per round of fighting. The format will be determined after the round has been announced and fighters have assembled on the field. Each round is a Round Robin, with the first place fighter getting the first pick at ingredients, etc. Prize ingredients must be used in some way.
Teams will have two hours to create a single plate of food for a panel of judges that is arguably period. The team’s herald must argue the periodocity of the dish.
Additional elements will be announced as they occur (to us).
